Vietnamese, living in Chiba, Japan. No CS degree — I started with small scripts to cut down repetitive work, and after two years they had turned into products people pay for.
Người Việt, đang sống ở Chiba, Nhật Bản. Không học trường lớp về máy tính — tôi bắt đầu bằng mấy đoạn script nhỏ để bớt việc lặp đi lặp lại, hai năm sau chúng thành sản phẩm có người trả tiền dùng.
I work alone and cover the whole stack: Android app, desktop program, server, licensing, billing, support. Most of the time goes into what happens when things break — dropped mobile connections, sites changing overnight, steps that half-succeed.
Tôi làm một mình và lo trọn: app Android, phần mềm máy tính, máy chủ, khoá bản quyền, tính tiền, hỗ trợ. Phần lớn thời gian là xử lý lúc hỏng — mạng di động rớt, trang web đổi giao diện sau một đêm, bước chạy xong nửa chừng.

- Licensing, usage metering and monthly billing are built in.
- Kotlin Android app, Python desktop program, a fleet of phones driven over ADB and the Chrome DevTools Protocol, Cloudflare backend on D1, KV and R2.
- In production for over a year. Used daily, updated regularly, supported by me.
- Hỗ trợ 20+ trang web tại Nhật Bản.
- Nhiều khách dùng chung một nền tảng, mỗi khách một tài khoản và hạn mức riêng.
- Cấp phép, đo mức dùng và tính tiền hàng tháng được xây sẵn bên trong.
- App Android bằng Kotlin, phần mềm máy tính bằng Python, một dàn điện thoại điều khiển qua ADB và Chrome DevTools Protocol, backend Cloudflare trên D1, KV, R2.
- Chạy thật hơn một năm. Dùng hằng ngày, cập nhật đều, hỗ trợ do tôi làm.

- A QR code in the room opens the review page for that room.
- One Cloudflare Worker serves both the site and the API, so there is almost no fixed running cost.
- Khách đánh giá đúng căn phòng đã ở, không phải đánh giá chung cả khách sạn.
- Mã QR dán trong phòng mở thẳng trang đánh giá của phòng đó.
- Một Cloudflare Worker chạy cả trang web lẫn API, nên gần như không tốn chi phí cố định.

What I want to build next. Booking sites are designed for human eyes — photos, filters, rankings. I think most bookings will eventually be placed by AI agents, so I am building Okalob to be read and booked by machines, not only by people. Further out: intelligence that runs inside the device rather than in a data centre.
Thứ tôi muốn làm tiếp. Sàn đặt chỗ hôm nay được thiết kế cho mắt người — ảnh, bộ lọc, xếp hạng. Tôi cho rằng phần lớn lượt đặt rồi sẽ do tác tử AI thực hiện, nên tôi đang dựng Okalob để máy đọc được và đặt được, chứ không chỉ để người xem. Xa hơn nữa: trí tuệ chạy ngay bên trong thiết bị, thay vì ở một trung tâm dữ liệu.
